Working wth JAVA in Xpages and want to quickly test some code snippets? Scapbook is your friend ... maybe ...

When developing Xpages with Java I need, time to time, to test some specific code snippet to see its working as I expect. I'm using standalone Eclipse (prefer Netbeans recently) to test some standalone code. Its quite easy because I can run it directly in IDE and see result in eclipse console immediately. Using a quick code adjustment and re-run until its working fine speedup things. Recently I just found out a feature I have never noticed in Eclipse - 'Scrapbook'. This little thing can help you quickly run some code snippet in DDE direcly.

Thanks for this great Connect 2014 presentation http://www.slideshare.net/panagenda/bp205-improving-your-ibm-domino-designer-experience I took the screenshots from ... (slide n. 70)
