Is there a place, where IBM xPages Core developers answer some technical questions?

Is there a place, where IBM xPages Core developers answer some technical questions? I have succesfully used the xPages Forum http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/xpagesforum.nsf/allDocuments.xsp  many times ...  but time to time, xPages developers have technical questions where just core IBM xPages developers can provide some authoritative answer. Such questions are being  unanswered on xPages forum, or there are answers like " I'm not sure, someone from IBM should answer this ...". Doesn't seem to me, that IBM developers are reading and answering questions on xPages forum (and I think they should as a part of support for community). How we can we get answers on such questions, where I can ask? The one of these examples is here http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/xpagesforum.nsf/topicThread.xsp?action=openDocument&documentIdÑD0A180BC934E90852578FB00646B9A There is no authoritative answer for a few months and I'm a bit desperate as I don't know where to ask to get an answer. Many openSource products have forums and discussions where application authors are replying as well ... because they are those 'who knows best' ...

Hi,

well, that information is available on OpenNTF in Extension Library project discussions. See following link

{ Link }

It is explained how to achieve this for MSSQL, but you should get the point.

If you don't want to use extlib, then only option for you is to write your xpages the same way you will write a normal JSF application, with all the persistence and other stuff written in Java.

See following link as an example (in russian, use google translate)

Hi David,

I totally agree with you. I myself wanted to blog about it. There are several questions/issues which only IBM technical team can answer. For example,

why the NAB groups won't work on XPiNC (offline) applications? Any plans to implement it in near future?

Is SPR the only way to get in touch with IBM tech support !!

I would love to see a IBM Technical Support website that can answer genuine technical questions/issues.

Correction: Please read SPR as PMR
